I don’t let people know about my birthday because I don’t really like birthdays. I usually avoid them at any cost, but today my team managed to get this one passed me. It got me off guard since its practically 2 days after my birthday.
I’ve blocked my calendar for a meeting with clients today, and all of a sudden my 2 o’clock cancelled. Turns up it has been a setup where my team moved my meeting next week. Then after lunch, I had several members of my team asking for they valuation report before I leave at the end of the month. So I went downstairs to the meeting room and was ambushed by the whole team. They threw me a surprise party with cakes and pizza, the works.
Oh I’m going to miss you guys a lot after I’m gone. You left me in tears inside.
